Spanish Colonial Revival Furniture is the special domain of Romani Furniture Designs, a design, and production house with extensive experience in antique reproductions and new designs created in the Spanish Colonial and the Colonial Revival style. We are a direct source, operating our own design and production studio, staffed with talented artists and craftsmen, with facilities in Peru and Los Angeles. Our home furniture and accessories collections bring the natural flair and elegance of the Spanish Colonial, Tuscan, and Mediterranean style to your home or resort. Our collections are inspired by a passion for the rich heritage of Spanish and Tuscan styles and culture, a passion built through two generations of creating Spanish Colonial Furniture for discerning collectors and designers. We have created several collections of Spanish Revival-Style Mansion and Hacienda Furniture that are comprised of handcrafted pieces of furniture using centuries-old techniques and designs combined with an open appreciation of new trends so that our products reflect a fusion of both classical and Neo-Mediterranean designs. The Montecito Italian Villa Collection is inspired by the homes of the Santa Barbara coastline of Southern California with the high ceilings and grand rooms reflective of European Villas which demand large scale, yet carefully crafted and elegant furniture to bring the level of luxury and sophistication desired by discerning home owners and designers. Yet, we remain ever mindful of the need for quality, old world craftsmanship and solid woods to withstand the test of time, while striving for designs which include Moorish, Spanish Baroque and Spanish and Portuguese Colonial Influences. Allowing this furniture to be not just comfortable in the style but to also join in the creation of stunning interiors and expansive verandas, showcase living spaces, as in the Los Olivos Mediterranean Estates and the classic hacienda style homes of Santa Ynez. Our collection for the Southwest is characterized and inspired by the laid back yet sophisticated look of the Sedona Southwest and Santa Fe with its incredibly rich style, the result of the confluence of the colors, shapes and geometrical patterns of the pueblo Indians, the Spanish Missionaries and Conquistadors and the ever present rugged beauty of the southwest desert. This is Romani’s Mission Style furniture collection... Rustic and elegant, clean and simple but never plain with rich colors and patterns making it warm, inviting, and livable as a retreat for the soul or a comfortable background for daily living. Romani’s Monterrey Collection does homage to the independent character of the rugged individualists who brought the missions, ranches and the culture of Spain and Mexico to the northern part of California including Carmel Valley , Napa Valley, the Monterrey Peninsula , the hills of Los Gatos and the great spaces east of Sacramento. The missions, the Spanish Colonial Revival of San Francisco, and a touch of the California ranch aesthetic inspire the collection.
